Trying to understand what makes this an 'AI automation' hustle versus just regular Zapier/Make consulting, which has been around for years. Is the AI part just adding a ChatGPT step, or is there more to it than that?

Honestly it's mostly that. The core skill is the same automation-building work people have done for years, the AI step is what lets you handle judgment calls a plain automation couldn't, like writing a real personalized reply instead of a template.

I'd say the pitch is different even if the underlying work overlaps. 'AI automation' gets more attention from prospects right now than 'Zapier consulting' does, for better or worse.
