Do clients care that you're using AI tools?

None of my clients have ever asked directly if I use AI for their work. Wondering if I should mention it upfront or just let the results speak for themselves. Feels a little like I'm hiding something even though I'm not doing anything wrong.

I don't lead with it but I don't hide it either. If a client asks how I got something done so fast I just tell them straight.

Same, they're paying for the outcome, an inbox handled well or a report that's actually useful. How you got there is your process, not really their business unless they ask.

One client did ask me not to use AI for anything client-facing after a bad experience with a different freelancer, so it's worth checking their comfort level early rather than assuming.
