Here's a realistic breakdown based on what I spent and what I've seen others invest: Essential Startup Costs (The Minimum) | Item | Budget Option | Quality Option | |------|--------------|----------------| | Bedding (sheets, pillows, duvet) | $100-150 | $250-400 | | Towels (bath, hand, washcloths) | $50-80 | $100-150 | | Basic toiletries | $30-50 | $50-100 | | Cleaning supplies | $50-75 | $75-100 | | Smart lock | $100-150 | $200-300 | | Total Minimum | $330-505 | $675-1,050 | Nice-to-Have Additions \- Quality coffee maker: $50-150 \- Welcome basket items: $20-40/guest \- Guidebook/binder: $20-30 \- Extra phone chargers: $20-30 \- Bluetooth speaker: $30-50 My Advice Start lean and reinvest your first few months of earnings.
