Here's what I wish someone told me at the start: 1\. Your first product will probably fail (and that's okay) My first 3 products flopped. Lost about $4k total. But those lessons were invaluable. 2\. Supplier relationships matter more than price I used to chase the cheapest quote. Now I pay slightly more for suppliers who communicate well and are reliable. 3\. PPC is not optional You cannot launch a product in 2024/2025 without a solid PPC strategy. Budget for it. 4\. Reviews are everything Get enrolled in Vine. Follow up with customers (within TOS). One bad review early can tank your product. 5\. Differentiation > Competition Don't try to compete on price with established sellers. Find a way to be different (bundle, better design, solve a specific problem).
