Setting my hourly rate as a beginner

I have no professional experience but have watched my younger siblings for years. What is a fair starting rate? I do not want to undervalue myself but also want to be competitive.

Check your local rates on Care.com. I started at $15/hour with no experience and raised it after getting reviews.

Family experience counts! Mention it in your profile. I started at $14/hour and am now at $22 after two years.
