I use a simple formula: gas cost plus $0.30 per mile plus $50 base. Anything above that is profit. Helps me bid quickly and consistently without second guessing.

Love this formula! I do something similar. Having a system removes the guesswork and keeps you profitable.

I add extra for pet transport since it requires more stops. Otherwise this is solid math.
