Peak Pay Strategy: When Is It Actually Worth Chasing?

Been dashing for about 8 months now and I've noticed Peak Pay isn't always what it seems. Sometimes a $3 bonus brings out so many dashers that you end up waiting longer for orders. Other times, a $1 bonus during bad weather can be incredibly profitable. What's your approach to Peak Pay? Do you chase it or ignore it?

Great point about the $3 bonus flooding the market! I've started checking the Dasher map before heading out. If there are too many dashers already, I skip Peak Pay completely. My best earnings are usually on rainy days with just $1-2 bonus - way less competition.

Weather-based Peak Pay is the sweet spot for sure. Last week we had thunderstorms and $2.50 peak pay - I made $42/hour for 3 hours straight. Also, Sunday evenings tend to have good peak pay with reasonable competition in my market.
