Dealing with Copycats - Protecting Your Designs

Found someone copying my bestselling printables almost exactly last week. Filed a DMCA but its frustrating. How do you protect your original designs? Watermarks? Copyrights? Just accept it as part of the game?

DMCA is your best friend. I have filed about 10 and Etsy takes them down within 24-48 hours usually. Also, having unique photos and branding makes it obvious who the original is. Copyright registration helps for serious cases.

Unfortunately copycats are part of the game. What helps: constantly innovating and staying ahead, building a brand customers recognize, and focusing on YOUR business not theirs. The copycats never have your creativity.
