How Many Listings Do You Need to Start Making Sales?

Some people say 50 listings minimum, others say quality over quantity. I have 8 really polished listings right now. Should I focus on adding more products or perfecting what I have? What worked for you when starting out?

Quality over quantity for sure, BUT you need enough listings for Etsy algorithm to notice you. I would aim for 25-30 solid listings before expecting consistent sales. Each listing is like a lottery ticket - more tickets, more chances.

I started getting regular sales around 20 listings. But here is the thing - make sure those listings cover different keywords. Having 20 variations of the same product will not help as much as 20 different searchable items.
