No-shows are the worst part of FBMP. My prevention tips: confirm day-of, ask them to message when leaving, and never hold items without deposit. If they no-show, immediately relist and move on. Time is money.

I require a small deposit via Venmo for holds. Serious buyers have no problem with $10-20 deposit that goes toward the purchase. Tire-kickers disappear when money is involved.

My rule: first person with cash in hand gets it. I tell everyone that upfront. No more holding for someone who might show up. Creates urgency and reduces no-shows dramatically.
