Which AI voice tool sounds least robotic right now?

Tried three different AI voice generators for my last two videos and comments keep calling the narration 'robotic' even though I thought it sounded decent. What's actually working for people right now, not just what's cheapest?

ElevenLabs has been the least robotic-sounding one I've used, but it's also the most expensive of the ones I tried.

Disagree that it matters as much as people think, I use a cheaper option and just slow down my script pacing and add pauses, comments stopped mentioning it after that.

It's also worth checking if your script itself reads naturally out loud before blaming the voice tool. I rewrote a script to sound more conversational and the same voice tool suddenly sounded less robotic.

All fair points, I'd add that adding light background music actually masks a lot of the robotic edge too.
