Insulated bags worth it or overkill?

About to place an order for proper insulated grocery bags instead of just using whatever's in my trunk. Is this actually worth the cost for someone just doing this casually, or is it more of a thing for people treating it as a bigger operation?

Worth it even casually in my opinion, frozen items surviving the drive in summer heat alone justifies it.

Agree, and it's also just a customer rating thing, cold items arriving actually cold tends to show up in your ratings over time.
