Landed a small business client for the phone-call lane

Pitched a local dog groomer on a trial AI call campaign to follow up with people who booked once and never came back. She said yes to a free trial of 15 calls. Got 4 people to rebook. She's paying me $150/month to keep doing it monthly. Took way more back-and-forth on the script than I expected — first draft sounded too robotic and she made me redo it twice.

$150/month for something you can mostly automate after the first script is solid is a great ratio of effort to pay. How long did the actual calls take to run once the script was approved?

Calls themselves took maybe 20 minutes total for all 15, reviewing the transcripts and writing her a summary took longer than that honestly.

This is making me want to try the local business angle instead of individuals. Less awkward asking a business for account-adjacent access than asking a friend for their email.
