Took about 14 months but I'm finally making consistent income from my podcast. Mix of Spotify ads and one direct sponsor. Not life-changing money but it covers all my hosting and equipment costs plus a little extra!

Start with your phone or laptop mic honestly! Content matters more than audio quality when you're starting. Upgrade later.

I started with a Blue Snowball ($50) and it worked great for my first year. Don't let gear paralysis stop you from starting!
