My survival strategies: 1) Stack cash during busy months 2) Use slow time for profile optimization and skill building 3) Lower rates slightly to stay competitive 4) Pick up tasks you'd normally skip 5) Consider adding seasonal categories like holiday decorating. The feast or famine nature is real - plan accordingly!

Holiday decorating is genius for slow periods! Never thought of that. Christmas light installation could be huge. Adding to my categories now.

The cash stacking during busy months is the key. I pretend January doesn't exist income-wise and save accordingly. Also good time for vacation since work is slow anyway!
