Question for the group: What happens if I accidentally damage something? TaskRabbit has Tasker insurance but the details are vague. Last week I scratched a floor moving furniture (client was cool about it). Should I get my own liability insurance? Anyone actually filed a claim through TaskRabbit? What was that process like?

I carry my own liability insurance ($35/month through Next Insurance). Gives me peace of mind and I can take on higher-value jobs confidently. Worth exploring!

Good question - TR insurance kicks in after your personal liability. For scratch situations, most clients accept a small discount. Document with photos before you leave!
