Here's my reality after 6 months full-time in a major metro: $2,800-3,500/month average after platform fees. Good months hit $4k+, slow months (January, late summer) drop to $2k. Factor in gas, tools, taxes (set aside 30%!), and actual hourly ends up around $22-28.
