Started TaskRabbit as a weekend thing while employed. Month 1: $400 weekends only. Month 2-3: $800/month, started taking PTO for busy days. Month 4: Realized I was making more per hour than my salary. Month 5: Gave notice. Month 6: Full-time Tasker making $3.2k/month with better work-life balance. The flexibility is addictive once you experience it.

This is inspiring! I'm at month 3 of your journey (taking PTO for busy days). The flexibility is so appealing but scary to make the full jump.

Congratulations on the transition! The work-life balance point is huge. Being my own boss and picking my hours is worth more than the dollars sometimes.
