Invested $400 in tools and it paid off within 2 weeks. Essentials: Power drill with bit set, socket wrench set, level, stud finder, moving blankets, dolly, rubber mallet, Allen key set (critical for IKEA!), headlamp, knee pads. Pro tip: Get a Milwaukee or DeWalt bag that keeps everything organized. Also keep a basic cleaning kit in your car for those "while you're here" requests.

That Allen key set is SO important for IKEA. I'd add a magnetic wristband too - game changer for keeping track of screws during assembly.

Great list! I'd add a portable battery pack for your phone and a Bluetooth speaker for long jobs. Music makes the work fly by and clients often appreciate it.
