Do I need expensive equipment to start?

I only have an iPhone 12 and basic ring light. Is that enough to make quality content or should I invest in a better camera and lighting setup before I really commit to this?

iPhone 12 is MORE than enough! Some of my viral videos were shot on my iPhone 11. Good lighting matters way more than camera quality. Start with what you have and upgrade as you grow.

Honestly the best camera is the one you have. iPhone 12 shoots 4K which is overkill for TikTok anyway. Invest in a $30 ring light and you're set. Content and personality matter most!
