I used to only use trending sounds but recently switched to original audio and my content is performing differently. Trending sounds seem to get more initial push but original audio builds your brand better. Here's my full breakdown...

Original audio is key for building a personal brand! When people recognize your voice or your catchphrase, that's when you know you've made it. Trending sounds are good for growth spurts though.

I do 70% original audio, 30% trending sounds. Best of both worlds. The original audio builds my brand while trending sounds help with discovery. Also original audio can become a sound others use!
