Insurance options beyond Turo protection plans

I'm considering adding commercial insurance on top of Turo's protection. Currently using the 85% plan but wondering if personal umbrella policies or dedicated rideshare insurance is worth it. What additional coverage do you carry?

I carry a $2M umbrella policy on top of Turo's 85% plan. Cost me about $300/year extra but the peace of mind is worth it. Some hosts use commercial policies from companies like Roxbury or American Modern.

Make sure to disclose your Turo activity to your personal insurance company! Some will cancel your policy if they find out you're renting your car commercially without telling them.
