What type of car performs best on Turo in your market?

I've been hosting for about a year now and noticed that SUVs consistently outperform sedans in my area (Denver). Teslas are popular too but the maintenance costs worry me. What's been your experience? Are economy cars worth it or should I focus on mid-range vehicles?

In Austin, SUVs are king too! My RAV4 gets booked way more than my Civic. Teslas are hot but I stick with reliable Japanese cars - lower maintenance and guests know how to drive them without issues.

Economy cars can work if you price them right for budget travelers. My Corolla stays busy during weekdays with business travelers. SUVs for weekends and vacations, sedans for the steady weekday income.
