Had my share of problem riders. My approach: stay calm, don't argue, end the ride if you feel unsafe. Document everything. Most importantly - don't let one bad ride ruin your day or your rating strategy.

The "end ride if unsafe" advice is crucial. Uber will side with you if you document properly. I've ended maybe 5 rides in 2 years and never had an issue with my account.

One thing that helps: remember it's just 10-20 minutes of your life. Even the worst passenger will be gone soon. Deep breaths, stay professional, and vent later in driver groups!
