How has the pay changed over the years?

Been driving since 2019 and feel like per-mile rates have dropped significantly. Long-timers - am I imagining things or has the pay really gotten worse? How do you adapt?

You're not imagining it. Per-mile rates have dropped. The only way to adapt is work smarter - cherry pick rides, know your profitable zones, and don't accept anything that doesn't make sense financially.

Pay has definitely gotten worse but I make up for it with volume and strategy. Airport queue, surge riding, and declining bad trips. You have to be more selective now than in 2019.
