Consistency is key: clean car always, phone chargers available, temperature check with passengers, and I never comment on their destination. Small talk only if they initiate. Water bottles during summer months!

Temperature check is underrated! I always ask "is the temperature okay for you?" within the first minute. Shows you care without being intrusive. My rating went up after I started doing this.

Not commenting on destinations is smart. I learned that lesson when a passenger got annoyed that I mentioned their hospital visit. Now I just drive and let them lead any conversation.
