Should I take low-paying jobs just for reviews?

Saw advice to take cheap jobs initially to build reviews. Is this still valid or does it hurt my profile long-term?

One or two is fine to get started, but don't make it a habit. Low-paying clients often demand the most and leave bad reviews.

Instead of cheap jobs, offer a slightly lower rate to ideal clients. Better to have good clients paying less than nightmare clients.
