Best free editing software for beginners?

DaVinci Resolve is amazing and completely free. It's what Hollywood uses! The learning curve is steep but there are tons of tutorials. CapCut is great for Shorts editing.

DaVinci Resolve is incredible for free software. The color grading alone is worth learning. Just make sure your computer can handle it - it's resource intensive.

CapCut is seriously underrated for long-form too, not just Shorts. The auto-captions feature saves me hours of work every week.
