Just started my channel last month. I know I need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours, but realistically how long does this take for most people?

Took me 9 months to hit the requirements. Most people I know took 6-18 months. The key is finding a niche that gets decent search traffic - helps with consistent views.

Watch hours is usually the harder requirement. Focus on retention and making longer videos (10+ mins) rather than churning out short ones.
