My gaming channel has plateaued and I want to pivot to tech reviews. Worried about losing my audience. Has anyone successfully changed niches mid-growth?

I switched from lifestyle to finance at 30K subs. Lost about 20% initially but gained them back within 4 months with more engaged viewers. Worth it!
